All of our classes are designed to accommodate any level of yogi from beginners to seasoned practitioners.  We offer a variety of yoga style classes to accommodate differing preferences in workout styles. 


Hot Yoga

This is a sequence of asana (postures) and pranyama exercises (breathing techniques) practiced in a heated room which allows you to work deeper to release toxins and stress while building strength, flexibility, cardiovascular, and mental and physical determination and focus. 

Yoga TriangleThis is a prefect compliment to any athletic pursuit as it helps minimize the damaging effects most sports and workout programs have on the spine, joints and organs.  This vigorous practice is designed to work the entire body as a system, toning and shaping muscles while working the internal organs to create inner health and vitality.

90 minutes.  Heated Room.

Hatha Yoga

Less heat – same great benefits of the hot-style yoga.  This modified version offers a more meditative practice, focusing deeper on each posture while still providing a vigorous workout that will challenge the mind and body while reducing stress, sharpening mental clarity, increasing flexibility and building tone – just with less heat and a few NEW poses.

While hot-style yoga follows the same series each time with 2 sets each, Warm Yoga exercises some flexibility doing just one set of some poses and adding new poses that work specific areas of the body such as opening up the hips, the neck muscles or shoulders for example.  This is a wonderfully relaxing, yet physically challenging class.

Mon, Wed, Fri = 75 minutes.
Wed @ 4pm = 60 minutes
Non-Heated Room.

Ashtanga

Come try a FREE intro to Ashtanga on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8:30am

This is a dynamic and challenging form of hatha yoga. You will do sun salutations, standing poses, and some seated postures. Each pose is linked to the next through a series of connecting movements called vinyasa, whish allows the body to create heat and build more flexibility. Smooth, deep breathing, gaze and locks are synchronized with the movements to create this progressive series. This powerful and vigorous practice purifies and realigns the body, cultivating a feeling of inner peace, and leading to a natural state of meditation.

Beginning September 2
Tuesday and Thursdays 8:30 am - 10 am

90 Minutes.  Non-Heated Room.

The 1st Tuesday of each month is an Intro Ashtanga
8:30 am – 10 am
This is a chance to learn more about Ashtanga before jumping into your first class.

Salsa Dancing

We’re heating up the studio with the hottest dance trend to hit the area – Salsa!  This Latin dance craze is simple enough that in 6 weeks you’ll learn a variety of moves sure to impress at your next party or out on the town.  Plus, it’s just a lot of fun and a great workout! No partner required to learn.   (60 minutes)  No shoes.  Socks are optional.  Wear cool, comfortable clothing.

Swing Dancing

Swing Dancing

Let’s have some fun at the studio.  You’ll learn a variety of swing dance styles during this 8 week class.  Bring a partner, friend or find another single at the studio and swing the night away.  (60 minutes)  No shoes.  Socks are optional.  Wear cool, comfortable clothing.

Yoga Flow

YogaThe gentle approach to this class allows the most novice yogi to easily begin their yoga practice, yet still has restorative benefits for seasoned yogis.  Working at your own pace you will relieve stress while building flexibility and strength. This non-heated class uses a friendly approach to teaching; focusing on the many health benefits of yoga through flowing movements and breathing exercises. Pose modifications and options allow all levels to enjoy this class.

Cardio Pilates

This is a fat-burning workout combining low-impact aerobics, strength training and TaeBo using resistance bands.  The cardio segment is followed with Pilates mat exercises targeting the abs, hips & legs.  This is a fun upbeat class sure to be as challenging as it is fun!

Vinyassa

This is a new and unique style of yoga. It is the synchronization of breath with movement, where postures are linked together in a continuous and challenging flow. Vinyasa united the physical with the flow of the practice and the breath to bring together the internal and the external. The practice engages the energy found within and leaves you feeling energized, centered and more connected!

Mat - Pilates

This class works core control, coordination, standing alignment and balance as well as flexibility. Emphasis is on precise alignment and controlled movements, breathing and efficient sequencing of movement.
